Membership Matters
If the Bible is the cornerstone of our church, then membership is the cement that holds us together.
A committed body of believers
Both Christ and the apostles call Christians into the committed life of a local church — a body where believers are encouraged, protected, taught, and held accountable.
Membership is how we formally commit to one another: to love, serve, and walk together under the care of the elders and the authority of God's Word.
Our next membership class takes place in August.
Becoming a member
Membership Matters Class
A four-week class introducing our church's history, theology, mission, and ministry philosophy, along with the biblical basis for church membership.
Application & Interview
After the class, you'll complete a membership application and meet with one of our elders to share your testimony and ask any questions.
Elder Recommendation
Your interviewing elder presents your testimony to the other elders, who together affirm your readiness for membership.
Congregational Welcome
The congregation hears each applicant's testimony and welcomes new members during a Sunday morning service.
Questions about membership? Talk with one of our pastors after the service — we'd be glad to answer any questions you have.
